Emergency relief services to cancer patient’s hostels

We continue to provide emergency relief services to cancer patient’s hostels and service providing organisations that are our members. Our visit on 7th August 2020, to Patient Relief Mission was greeted with unpleasant news of patients that were formerly putting up there still stuck at Uganda Cancer Institute following their return for treatment during the COVID 19 lockdown in Uganda. They are reportedly required to conduct a COVID 19 test before they could be admitted back into the hostel. We are working with UCI to ensure that these patients are assisted expeditiously.
