Dr. Ubaldo Bahemuka
Vice Chairperson/Chairperson Research Committee
Dr Ubaldo Bahemuka, is a Clinical Epidemiologist, currently working with the Medical Research Council / Uganda Virus Research Institute and London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. He has over 15 years’ experience, working in HIV prevention Research and in particular HIV vaccine development research, work, which has significantly contributed to numerous scientific reports. He is a member of Hospice Africa Uganda general assembly. He Holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery (MBChB, MUK) & MSc Epidemiology, (LSHTM).
He is the Vice Chairman of the UCS board (2019-2022). He also Chairs the research committee, and is a member of the boards finance committee.
He is a strong Advocate for evidence based clinical research for Cancer; Prevention, Control, Treatment and Palliation.
